Dakota Richardson is a photographer and writer from Stamford, Connecticut. At 19 years old, Dakota currently attends NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, where he studies dramatic writing, filmmaking, and economics. He spends his summers trying to make it as a saltwater fishing guide and rarely misses a good tide. “I started taking pictures at a young age, mostly to prove to my dad that I actually was catching fish when left to explore on my own. As a result, a passion in photography was born to compliment my love for fly fishing. I also developed a curiosity and joy in writing about the fisherman’s world. For me fishing is everything, and I can’t imagine not being connected to the sport in some way or another.”
