Todd Moen Highlight

Greetings friend}},

We’re excited to share a special Q&A with Todd Moen featured below.

Todd’s latest work, Kimsquit, captures a deep connection to water, wild fish, and the enduring friendships that shape a place. Filmed around Kimsquit Bay and Kimsquit Bay Lodge in British Columbia’s Great Bear Rainforest, this piece reflects Todd’s long-standing relationship with the Hickman family and the waters they’ve shared for years.

This is one of Todd’s most personal and immersive films to date. Rather than focusing solely on the pursuit of steelhead, the film leans into something deeper…the return to a place shaped by decades of friendship, wild fish, and time on the water. Set along the legendary Dean River and Kimsquit Bay, the story unfolds with a slower, more reflective pace that allows the landscape, the people, and the history to speak for themselves.

If this story resonates with you, Todd is currently exploring the idea of hosting a select group of anglers to Kimsquit Bay Lodge in 2027. This trip would be built around the same experiences you see in his recent work: wild steelhead, remote water, and meaningful time on the river. If you’re interested in more information about this opportunity, feel free to reach out directly to learn more at [email protected]

You can watch Todd’s latest film, Kimsquit, now in the current edition of Catch Magazine here.

Stay tuned for Issue 87 coming soon.
Thank you for supporting Catch Magazine.
Cheers,
Todd & Kelley Moen
