Yamsi Fly Fishing is located at the headwaters of South-Central Oregon’s crystal-clear, spring-fed Williamson River. http://yamsiflyfishing.com In this film, Todd captures fourth-generation owner, Tom Hyde, as he navigates the 5,000-acre ranch by Polaris Ranger Side by Side to fly fish for rainbow and brook trout. In a stroke of luck, Moen hit the Williamson’s late-summer grasshopper hatch, producing epic top-water action with rising fish and magnificent takes for his camera.
Thanks to the Hyde Family at Yamsi; Tom & Leanne, John & Gerri. Their industry professionalism and long-time friendship means the world to me. Thanks also to my long time fly industry supporters R.L. Winston Rod Company, Bauer Fly Reels and Scientific Anglers. Finally, much appreciation to Neil Matsumoto from Panasonic for giving me the opportunity to be the very first to test and use the Panasonic HC-X2, as I’m a true believer in the Panasonic brand (it’s the only one I’ve tried and stuck with) since Catch Magazine began in 2008.
Special thanks to these companies that help support my film work with Catch Magazine and helping introduce fly fishing to new anglers around the globe.

Todd’s combined interest in film and fish began as a kid: he explored and filmed the big waters of western Washington and the blue-ribbon trout streams of his birthstate Montana. Years of traveling the far ends of the globe as a professional videographer and burning the midnight oil to design web media, Todd is living his dream with the production of Catch Magazine.
