This Catch Magazine highlight features photographer Tyler Schwab. His essay is called “Anomalous Flows” and it captures Alaska during the Fall season. Fishing in Alaska during the month of September often calls for swinging flies and playing the colorful bead game, aimed at fat and feeding Dolly Varden, rainbow and Arctic grayling. Tyler’s essay takes you to the wild northern reaches, with spawning sockeye salmon, hungry brown bears and even the famous Northern Lights.
