Brian O’Keefe shares his simplistic flyfishing adventure on the lakes of New Zealand’s North Island. His essay covers the practical guide for touring “old-school style” in a makeshift campervan in search of NZ lake trout. A veteran NZ visitor, O’Keefe shares valuable tips and tricks for a minimalist flyfishing trip to this incredibly special destination.

Her trip into BC’s far north for trout, pike and grayling will entertain you, and it will remind you that fly fishing is for all ages and abilities.
