Legends of the Upper Limay

Highlight w/Todd Moen

Hi friend}},
Today we’re happy to introduce our friend Marcos Hlace from Barlioche, Patagonia Argentina.  Marcos is not only a fly fishing guide and photographer, he is also a woodworker and builder of wooden boats.  Beginning his career in Nahuel Huapi National Park on the Limay River near his hometown, he has guided and photographed in many places across the globe.  His essay in the current edition of Catch Magazine features the Limay River, its mountainous landscape and the beautiful trout living there.  You can see his full essay here.

We caught up with Marcos to learn more about his background and photography style in the Q & A below. We hope you enjoy it!
