We’re lucky to catch up with our long-time friend to discuss his most recent essay in Catch Magazine. On his recent trip to New Zealand’s North Island, O’Keefe aimed for a DIY, thrifty adventure. His essay shows us tips and tricks for simple travel. A float tube, a van and a good map could be all you need for an O’Keefe-style fly fishing trip. His photos document the magic that can be found on the central lakes of New Zealand’s North Island.
